Intervieweer: my mom, Dilys

My husband had to work every day. After I born Ying, I had the responsibility to look after her. Therefore, I resigned my job and became a housewife at home. I gave her the name, Ying. This is the first objectively identity which was given by me. Ying did not know anything starting from her birth. What I had to give her is love and patient. Although it was a hard work for me to look after a child for 24 hours, I would do anything which was good for her. When she did something wrong, I would blame her and teach her. Even though she ran in the mall, I would beat her and blame her. Whenever she met new friends, I would ask her not to believe them thoroughly because I was afraid she was being faked. I treated her harshly because I wanted her to be a well-educated girl and did not want her to get hurt. Unfortunately, this made her became inactive. She was not extroverted as the others children. She became a shy and introverted girl. When she went to the grade school, I realized that I was wrong. I encouraged her to join many join-school competition and club. Hope she could meet more friends and learn more things. When she finished high school, I sent her to the US as she had to learn to be independent. When she was small, she relied on me. It is difficult for her to get along in the society if she was not independent. Now, she can learn how to take care herself and live alone.
